About the Position

As a Travel RN in the PCU, you will provide specialized care to patients who need close monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren’t as critical as those in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role requires expertise in managing complex patient needs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about ongoing healthcare needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
